Lake Massapaug, Sharon, MA.   This is our temporary home while the Choate site is unavailable.     We are at the site of an old camp, recently purchased by the Town of Sharon—“Horizons for Youth”.

Directions to Horizons For Youth, Inc., on Lake Massapaug in Sharon:
Address:  121 Lakeview St, Sharon, MA

Description:    The beach has bathroom facilities and is tree lined in case of a hot day. It is in a sheltered part of the lake so there is very little wind and the water is very calm. This location also has a large building in case of rain.

Parking and unloading:    As you approach Horizon's for Youth (on Lakeview St.) you will see parking signs on either side of Lakeview street. They say "private" but since the town has bought this land, it is now public parking.    You can stop on the side of Lakeview street, unload (directly across from a large building with a horse shoe drive) and then park two house lots down in either parking lot.   Or, you can park in one of the lots and take your boat (s) along a lake path to the beach or walk across the street and along the path to the beach.
